How guests upload photos from iPhone or Android
Guests can add photos and videos from either type of phone. They need the album link or QR code and its PIN, plus the photos they want to share.
Open the right album
Tap the link your host sent, or scan their QR code with your phone camera. The album asks for a PIN. Enter the PIN supplied by the host; ask them for it if you did not receive it.
- Open the link or scan the QR code.
- Enter the album PIN.
- Choose photos or videos from your phone and upload them.
Check the upload
Keep the album open until the upload finishes. Then look for your files in the gallery. If a file is rejected as too large, choose a shorter clip or a smaller export. The current beta accepts up to 300 MB per file.
The phone’s photo picker may ask for access to selected photos. Choose the images you intend to contribute. You do not need to create a Share the Snaps account as a guest.
Browse and take a copy
Tap a photo to view it larger, or play a supported video in the album. Use the download control for an individual file, or Download all for the album ZIP. Playback support can vary with your phone’s video format; the download lets you keep the original file.
If you want the album to appear under My albums later, you can sign in and save it. Keep the link and PIN until then.
A simple place to start
A guest only needs the link or QR code and the PIN. Upload from the phone browser and wait for confirmation before leaving.
